Kowell × HanaLoop — Enterprise ESG Data Integration and CBAM Infrastructure
Challenge: Kowell needed to respond to EU CBAM and global customer ESG data requests, but lacked field metering infrastructure and integrated enterprise data management.
Solution: HanaLoop is building field metering infrastructure based on Hana.eco CBAM & API and extending Kowell’s ERP into the carbon management domain through Hana.eco API integration.
Result: Kowell is securing reliable measured data for CBAM and establishing enterprise carbon management processes inside its existing ERP environment.
Project Background
Kowell manufactures automotive parts and steel wire. Steel-based products are directly subject to EU CBAM, making carbon calculation and reporting essential for continued EU supply.
Implementation Approach
HanaLoop built field metering infrastructure, embedded CBAM calculation and reporting standards in the system, and designed an ERP integration structure that lets users view carbon management data inside the existing ERP.
Results
Kowell established measured-data infrastructure and enterprise ESG data integration, securing regulation-ready data and an internal operating foundation through practitioner training.
