Korea Institute of Origin Information × HanaLoop x OpusM — FTA-PASS EU CBAM Management System
Challenge: Korean manufacturers and exporters needed product-level emissions calculation and CBAM reporting, but many could not build their own systems, so CBAM functions had to be integrated into FTA-PASS.
Solution: HanaLoop integrated its certified CBAM solution license into FTA-PASS, enabling emissions calculation and automated CBAM report generation inside the platform.
Result: Around 30,000 FTA-PASS users can manage origin data and CBAM carbon data in one platform without building separate systems.
Project Background
Korea Institute of Origin Information operates FTA-PASS under Korea Customs Service oversight. EU CBAM created new requirements for Korean manufacturers and exporters to calculate product emissions and submit compliant reports, but many companies lacked internal systems.
Implementation Approach
HanaLoop integrated its certified CBAM solution license into FTA-PASS, implementing emissions calculation based on business and coefficient data and automated CBAM report generation inside the platform flow.
Results
FTA-PASS expanded from origin management to CBAM carbon management, allowing companies to access regulatory response infrastructure without building separate systems.
